Interdisciplinary Concentrations

Health Studies

In this concentration, students enhance their understanding of medical ethics, health psychology, medical anthropology, the economics, politics, and sociology of health care systems, medical law, and the history of medicine. Pre-medicine or other students who plan graduate work in health care areas may decide to combine this concentration with other course work in the natural sciences or related fields of study. This concentration is intended especially for those students who plan to pursue post-baccalaureate study or training in related fields.
