In this concentration, students study various aspects of the law to which the social sciences contribute special understanding. Topical areas may include constitutional law, criminal law process, legal history, the philosophy of law, the organizational structure of the legal system, and the impact of legal institutions on the broader society. Students select this concentration to prepare for law school, graduate school, legal assistant programs, and/or a variety of careers in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
