Supplementary Opportunities
Business Emphasis
The Business Emphasis provides a way for IDS students to take a number of courses in the College of Business that provide basic knowledge about the forces and operations that govern and shape the character of business practice. These courses may be applied to requirements or to electives, wherever appropriate. This emphasis will be a valuable complement to many, if not all, of the IDS concentrations; employers in the public and private sectors and graduate programs in public policy, law, or business will be especially interested in students who have included a significant portion of business-oriented course work in their undergraduate degree programs.
